St. Patrick's Day Banner

Last night I whipped up this quick St. Patrick's Day banner for my fireplace.

I used some pages from an old book and made my shamrock pattern by cutting out three  hearts, taping them together at the points and then adding a stem... traced around those on my green papers and cut them out!

Then I folded the top of each book page over a piece of jute twine and glued them, then went across the edges with a green ink stamp!

Easy Peasy... and now I have 4 things to decorate for St. Patrick's Day instead of just three! See my first post here.

I'm linking up to 320 Sycamore's $10 or under linky party... cause my project was free so I think I qualify! LOL!

Aww...this is too cute! I think I am gonna be a copy cat and make one for my kitchen china hutch! Thanks for sharing.

Very cool project Tania! I love to create things with what I already have on hand! You inspired me to take a look around my house and see what we can use to celebrate our "Irishness"" :)

I love your banner! It is so hard for me to decorate for St. Patty's Day but this gives me an idea!
